Facility and Equipment
Decontamination & Decommissioning
From a single piece of equipment to an entire facility, TIER has assessed, planned and implemented decontamination and decommissioning services for a wide range of remediation projects, and can manage yours with the same dedication to safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Manufacturing is not inherently clean and tidy. Equipment and the surrounding environment often accumulate contaminants as a byproduct of normal operations. These pollutants range from low-level waste to powders with an extremely high toxicity. To ensure that each remediation situation is handled appropriately, TIER first performs an evaluation of the site to identify the various types and quantities of impurities present in your facility, prior to clean-up.
Once the assessment is complete, we provide a plan outlining the methodologies and costs associated with your D&D project. To help you achieve your environmental goals, TIER will recycle your waste materials wherever possible and appropriate. For toxic contaminants, we strictly adhere to all state and federal guidelines for proper collection and disposal—using our own TSDF. Whether your needs include relocating decontaminated and dismantled processing lines to an active facility for re-use, or decommissioning for the purpose of demolition, TIER approaches every initiative with the same high level of commitment, ensuring your project is completed safely, thoroughly, and cost-effectively.
