TIER Driver Safety Rating

TIER is pleased to inform our clients that our DOT SAFER driving score is ZERO! As you may already know, zero is the highest score to achieve.  The Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER) system offers company safety data to the industry and the public over the internet, free of charge, via Company Snapshot, a concise electronic record of a company's identification, size, commodity information, and safety record, including the safety rating (if any), a roadside out-of-service inspection summary, and crash information. SAFER uses carrier information from existing government motor carrier safety databases. The SAFER system includes the capability to provide carrier, vehicle, and driver safety and credential information to fixed and mobile roadside inspection stations. The SAFER system supports electronic screening of commercial vehicles in order to allow Law Enforcement personnel to focus their efforts on vehicles most likely to fail inspection.
